THESE GUYS. i cannot believe they flew me out to colorado and wanted to traipse around this beautiful place with me! we had so much fun getting to know each other, eating delicious food, and making some beautiful images. i cannot WAIT to share their beautiful wedding day with you!

originally, amelia and devin were going to be married in north carolina! but when her grandmother fell ill, she decided that having her attend was wayyyyy more important than the wedding plans they had already made. so, we rearranged :)
the initial inquiry i received from amelia was so beautiful, i knew we had to work together. she sent me paragraphs, both in the inquiry and in answer to my couple's questionnaire! her vision for the wedding day was personal, intimate, just a pure reflection of the two of them and their families, their history. she got ready in her childhood bedroom with two of her best friends. him and his groomsmen did airplane bottle shots underneath the deck of his parent's beachhouse (i'm sure it wasn't the first time! haha) - i also loved that devin's band (including his brother and cousins) ended the ceremony with a really beautiful song- i don't know if there were ANY dry eyes!

man oh man. i'm breaking my blog silence with a GOOD ONE, y'all.
you may remember brittany and evan from our freaking awesome three day engagement session out in wyoming (you can see that HERE) - but if you don't, let me refresh you.
they are some of the kindest, most genuine people i've ever been blessed to know. they have the purest hearts, and i'm absolutely blessed to be the one that got to document their love firsthand, (and multiple times!)
we had a beautiful summer day at black mountain sanctuary, a venue that was saturated with greenery and quiet hideaway places. i loved seeing evan and brittany's father's reaction to seeing her for the first time, but one of my favorite moments was when they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife together, and seeing how brittany was overwhelmed by her emotions! she just pulled evan into a huge hug and held onto him, crying. those are the moments i live for, as a photographer. they're so beautiful in their rawness.
brittany and evan also put stock into hiring an incredible videography team, two cents photography! sarah and david are some of my dear friends and i had SO much fun working alongside them. you'd be missing out if you didn't watch their gorgeous video below!

stepping into this day, i knew how sweet kaiti and kenny were, both with one another, and just as individuals. they have a super kind, quiet love for one another that meshes well with their "i'm going to poke so much fun at you because we've known each-other for so long" side.
i was pleasantly surprised with this beautiful venue (chapel in the woods), kaiti's gorgeous dress, and all of her organic and DIY elements, from ferns to beautiful calligraphy, to hand-painted cake toppers that kaiti did herself. it's been so hard for me to pick my favorites from this sweet day!!
i hope you enjoy reliving it with me as much as i loved shooting it.
